Bill Felder, CPA, CISA serves as the Managing Director and President of Harper, Rains, Knight & Company, P.A. He has over thirty (30) years of experience in public accounting. Bill performs a wide range of audits in various industries including hospitals and healthcare organizations, Federal and state government agencies, real estate management companies, government-assisted multi-family housing projects, insurance related government organizations, not-for-profit organizations including schools and churches, and financial institutions. Bill specializes in audit, assurance and consulting, employee benefit plans, fraud examinations, monitoring services, information technology internal audits, financial reporting controls testing (SOX), year-end tax accruals and cost allocations. Bill is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (“CISA”) and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. Bill serves as a discussion leader for continuing education courses sponsored by the Mississippi State Society of Certified Public Accountants in the areas of employee benefit plans, HUD-assisted housing programs and government auditing standards.

More about Bill
Bill and his wife, Kimberly, live in Madison with their daughter, Regan. Bill is very involved with the First Baptist Church of Madison where he has served as a deacon, finance committee chair and member of the executive council. Bill also serves on the executive board and as the D3 committee executive for the Mississippi Futbol Club. He is the treasurer for Sweetwaters, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving needs of the poor, widowed, and orphaned in Johannesburg, South Africa. Bill is a member (currently serving as treasurer) of the Board of Directors of Community Place, a not-for-profit organization which operates a skilled nursing facility for the aged and infirmed. Also, Bill is a member (and previous chairman) of the board of directors of the American Red Cross Southwest Mississippi Chapter.
